Arabella as Camp Seamstress 2021

There was a time when Arabella was being consumed by visions of the outdoors and being outside indefinitely. The camp seamstress fixes hammocks and builds bags for equipment, tools, and general people stuff. Arabella began to imagine all she could create to optimize something like a camp setup, custom building storage on person and for bikes, backpacks, cars, etc.

Some early original projects I made when I was getting into sewing as a teenager were jar bags. They were for privacy, naturally. Anyway, it wouldn’t be until 2021 that I would make another bag apparently. A grey, cylindrical, sack-like bag would be the cover for henry’s little solo stove. We would pack a tiny alcohol burner on the inside. It was a very compact unit for small cooking tasks.

I took time to embellish the main body piece with a meso-American inspired rectangular wrap around design along the bottom edge. The I added a red rose embroidered patch to the front and center. The cord, patch, and embellishment all matched, and it turned out to be a very handsome bag.
